Hi, my name is André Fernandes, and I am an I.T. Operations and Support specialist.
I am focused on UNIX systems and FLOSS technologies, but I always strive to match the technology to solve the problem at hand in the most effective manner.
For the past few years I have worked with large-scale mission-critical services in an international context, and have learned quite a lot about managing systems and processes, as well as customer expectations.
Over the years I have achieved a few certifications, like RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Sun Java Certified Programmer, and ITIL v3 Foundation, and hope to continue expanding in this regard.
